About me

Music was everywhere in my childhood, yet  I was 13 before I discovered it (ie the guitar) for myself. Probably the "compulsory" recorder lessons at school contributed to that.

But then things really took off. My first guitar lesson, the school band, interest in the electric guitar, and already it was clear to me; it had to be music.

After that I studied the classical guitar under Prof. Karl Scheit in Vienna, obtaining a master degree in classic guitar performance.

On returning to Stuttgart I began teaching at the local music school. There followed many concerts both as a soloist and in various chamber music formations (mainly contemporary works and premieres).

Recently I have rediscovered my love of the electric guitar, enjoying in particular the harder style (metal).

Through the internet I can co-operate with artists from other countries and continents.

Life remains interesting...
